Hey just have a question, seeing as you guys are on the topic of student finance, once you have it in your account is it your responsibility to pay the tuition fees and accommodation? And is the info of who to pay it to given after results to everyone? Thanks.
Don't know if this got answered, but appeared on my screen, so I'll answer anyway just in case.

    > If you've applied for the full tuition fee loan, then you do not need to pay the Univeristy the tuition fee, as Student Finance will pay the University your loan directly.
If you've not successfully got the full loan, there is an idication on your financial notification saying "amount you need to pay Univeristy"

Your accomodation will not be paid automatically and you'll need to sort that payment out yourself. This will usually have to be done by a specified time, as set out by the university. I hope this helps!

I know! my friend recently came over from germany and I had to explain to her the whole firm/insurance thing, and offers and UCAS and results.... she was v confused!

 The more I explain the more confused I get!

Explaining clearing to family has been a hard task too :eek3:

I am terrified about the results but I think I plan to go clubbing the night before to take my mind off it/get so drunk I sleep till Track is updated. Does anybody know what time it's actually generally updated?

    What happened to positive thoughts?!
I have been listening to Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures (1979) album all day today.

    No room for positive thoughts.

I know, we could all just live in huts and hunt for food, and people would look at you weirdly if you mentioned UCAS Track. :coma:

    This.

Why do they have to drag it on for so long? I'm sure there is some reason but I'm getting to the stage where I loathe both my college and UCAS and the whole system for keeping me in suspense. Especially now it's getting closer.

ahee you don't have to, I don't really deserve it :p:, you were helpful today.

Sorry to hear that... be sure to get preparing and practicing your persuasive techniques, and have numbers of University departments ready; phone them FIRST THING on next Thursday morning and hopefully you'll manage to get a place.

Of course, I'm a bit skeptical, but nevertheless, if this is true, then read above!
