haha why would they stop you? they should be pulling you in from the street!!!
    Their page here says
You may not be able to give blood if:
1 You've had a serious illness or major surgery in the past or are currently on medication. Please discuss this with the clinical staff. The reason you're taking medicines may prevent you from donating.
Apparently 'major surgery' is where you're put unconcious... so technically my operation was "major"

    I don't know what I want to eat. :o:
    Hmm; food.
A sandwich? Toast? Beans on said toast? Some cereal?
Err, a Pot Noodle? Pasta? A banana? hmm.... something else, perhaps!

    It depends... what's available?!

Ahhhhh right, well are you on medication atm? how recent was ur op? If it wasn't that recent and ur not on medication it shouldnt be a problem its different if it was like an op on an organ or something.

The operation was just over 4 weeks ago (a month ago today... 10th July)
But no, I'm not on any medication.

I'll consider phoning my local centre/the main number to ask if it will stop me, temporarily. I don't think it would have a permanent effect... there was no blood transfusion or anything
