Well that's fair enough. I'm just an AS'er' so this years results are not as important. Though I am waiting on one A level which I took early; but I think that's in the bag *wishful thinking*.

On the 19th I'm just going to sort out my 3 large files, all are full of notes. By the eve of the 20th, they'll be in piles. Come midday on the 20th, those piles will either be refiled or turned to ash
    Hahaha

Oh thats brilliant. I did all the burning palaver the week after I finished my last exam. Cleared my room out, and got rid of EVERYTHING! Good times!

I can't believe we have only 24 days to go. I wonder how I'll be feeling when there's only 20 days left.

Totally don't mean this in a rude way, but probably the same?! 4 days shouldn't make too much of a difference unless of course the anxiety will have picked up because we'll be in August by then?

A few weeks after results day, those who do exceedingly well will look back at this thread and question how lame it actually was/is

Well yeah, signing up for them last year was total mahem. This year seems to be good, seeing as they provided us with our passwords straight after registration.

I logged in at 6:30 instead of 6:00 last year; I thought Edexcel would make a **** up - clearly I underestimated Edexcel ;D

What's the bet that by 5:50 on the 20th, this thread will be in full swing [for those getting online results]
I didn't know you could get results online for Edexcel. Our college obv. don't want us to do it that way.

I don't pretty much care now. There is no point in worrying because if I fail then thats when I have to worry and if I passed then there wasen't anything to worry about. So either case leads to not worrying. Certainly, even if I do fail then worrying won't do anything and is probably going to hold me back when going for clearing or begging for a place or getting my exams remarked.

You would have to apply to them through clearing and reject your insurance choice.
thanks, so am guessing they dont know then.
Hopefully, God willing wont need to think about that coz it wont occur  :o:

I've not read your original post, but if your thinking about rejecting your insurance choice, I'd do it sooner rather than later. You need a reference to go into clearing for it, and if you reject it on or after RD, then it will take about a week for you to get that number.

Thats what we were told before we left school.

It actually feels like I'm just waiting now, just waiting and waiting, however it's to soon to just wait. Really, I should be forgetting about them.
Waiting for results makes time go unbelievably slowly...

I thought universities did know if they were a firm or insurance place?
A letter I got from my (hopeful) uni said that if i missed their offer and didnt have an insurance place, they would try to give me a place anyway. This to me implies that universities do know about their position in terms of firm/insurance?
