Anyone heard of a rewards system?
Yeah, my parents did one for me. I ended up getting about £300! (Bet they regretted it!) Didn't mention that to most of my friends. :p:

The funny side to this is that they're supposedly giving my brother a lower amount (eg, I got £25 for an A*, he might only get £15/20) because he barely revised at all. Well, I did some, but nowhere near enough to qualify as dedicated studying.

Didn't revise enough for my ASs either, with the result that I'm now dying of nerves every time I think about results day. :eek3: :eek3:

I think the past 24 hours alone are an indication of how terrified I am of recieving my results. Yesterday, A woman at the bus stop asked me what time the bus was due, then in an attempt to make polite conversation asked if I had just left college. After saying I was awaiting my A level results, I then spent about 10 minutes bombarding her with information about how I thought my exams went, what UMS grades I need and generally rambling and getting stressed.

Then this morning I woke up at a ridiculous hour after having another dream about results day, then spent 45 minutes making UMS calculations on my phone.

I am losing my mind! :eek3:
LMAO I kept doin the UMS thing on my phone too! Calculating the same numbers each day for weeks! I've stopped now though but this last week I've started getting stressed again!!!

    Rewaards are goooood!

I got five hundred for GCSE's, and should get two hundred for A-levels if I've done well enough!!!

    My family suck.

I get nothing for my grades.

I get a 'well you are doing it for your own benefit anyway'.

And perhaps a Mars Bar if I'm luck

It says that I have accepted an offer and gives dates of updates and when it gets frozen/ unfrozen.

I am also sad because I too went to see this change on UCAS :p:
It says that apps. are updated at "mid-morning" on August 20th (Is this what it said last year? Will it still be 6/7-ish time?)

I logged in and it also said 'you have accepted an offer', but I thought this was referring to the conditional offers firm and insurance. Am I wrong does this mean something else? 'confused'

If only there was some way to make yourself not think about results until the morning of August 20th...

I'm going to Oxford tomorrow on a day trip with visiting family.
We're going to show them round Keble College. Before I even know I'm going there.

I'm thinking this may well be a mistake :facepalm2:

put yourself in a coma till the 20th. However, even though your in a coma you may still be thinking about it.

Lol imagine that, nothing to think about but results day .

Im never too scared about these things until the actual day. Looking back I was ******* weak at the knees and swallowing spit on AS results day. This is the actual thing so I'll probably just be sick all over the results sheet.

what constitutes as midmorning? is it 6am or have they chosen to unfreeze Track at a later time?....

To my neg repper, who seems to be too scared to leave a name

I actually did it coz I saw a few posts saying 22 days and wanted to let them know that they had longer. Not coz I love attention or are retarded. Tbh I'm the complete opposite. I hate attention. So please don't jump to conclusions when you don't even know me

    Thank you

I count up to the 19th August because one the day ends, it'll then be the 20th so I wouldn't have to wait an extra day....

therefore for me it'll be 22 days or specifcally 22 days and 6/7 hours :p:
