now everytime i come on here i get butterflies and want to throw up. i cant even resist not coming on here.

the last two days have gone really slow for me compared to the last couple of weeks, i hate it so much
Same, I can't really sleep that well either. Well, I haven't really been able to since April/May but these last few weeks have been, and the next few weeks are going to be, rather grim.

I CANT SLEEP, CANT EAT, CANT THINK

    A
I guess I'm not alone!! Although I can think but my thinking is only limited to results day. Atleast now I feel reassured that there is another person who also cant sleep, cant eat. I don't know whether you mean it hypothetically though because I don't!!!!

im guessing becasue this year more people applied to uni = more competition for places and there is likley to be less place in clearing. meaning there will be some who wont go to uni at all.

there is no reason to be calm unless your offer was for DDD and your an A grade student

Thanks those of you who answer my question about opening the envelope.xD

It's funny I can't stand this wait when it's just 2 weeks and sth(I waited for other "big" results before for months and just cannot cope with this one..><).
I really wish I were on holiday or something, this wait is just ......torture!!!!

For me it seems like days are going quickly, one time it was 23 days now it is 16 (nearly)...but I think it is because how I sleep, I go to sleep at 7am and wake up at 2pm then go back to sleep at 7-8pm and wake up at 11 then go to sleep at 7am again!

Makes the days go quite fast :| everyone should try it

If it were announced that the results were brought forward to this thursday the 6th of August what would everyone's reactions be, baring in mind this would mean the uni's would be receiving our results right this minute........

Wow you have quite an unsual sleep routine lol. I thought mine was rather absurd hehe. I go to sleep about 4 am in the morning and then wake up at about 9am. But then I have a nap for about an hour in the evening to compensate the sleep I lost during the night. When it comes to staying up the night before results day I don't think you'll have a problem with that lol. :p: Whereas for me on the other hand, I'll have to throw a bucket of cold water on my face every hour to make me stay awake!!!

loool I am not too sure about the night before results day because I probably will be going out after results so I will be knackered by the end of the day, so the day before I might have to sleep for the whole day :\ don't know how I'd manage that but I'm sure I'll find a way:cool:

I'd stuff my face in a pillow and scream as loud as I can and just pray I don't suffocate myself to death before even finding out my results. But imagine when they do actually receive our results in just more than a week's time. I should get that pillow ready lol.

    hahaha I really hope so

one more hypothetical situation here, what if UCAS went evil, and.......refused to release the results even to the unis..........would us students take up our arms and fight back? where is UCAS HQ anyway?
