Already lost weight but looking to lose more Watch

Since last July I've lost 42 lbs and now weigh around 9 stone and have done so since around December/January. However I'm quite short (5'3) and so would ideally like to get to around 7 and a half, just to feel more comfortable and confident in myself.

I wanted some advice on what to do, to step up my weightloss. I've found it difficult to shift the weight recently and someone suggested that maybe it was because I've already lost a significant amount.

Will cutting back on carbohydrates help with this? Or maybe extra exercise? I'd love to join the gym but unfortunately can't afford it so that's out of the question.

What have you done to lose the 42lbs so far? Sounds like an excellent achievement - well done! I don't think you really need to lose anymore but if you really want to just continue with the diet you've been following

Thank you! Well basically just a change of lifestyle; exercise (which I rarely did before) and cutting out a lot of bad food I had eaten before. To be honest I'm not going to stress myself out too much about losing the extra weight as I'm proud of the amount I've lost already so my plan might be to just stick to my eating habits as they are and perhaps just do extra exercise along with I already do

Keep the exercise up. if your doing LISS (jogginf for 40 mins kinda thing) i'd recommend it's time to change up and go to something like HIIT and weights, as they will increase your caloric needs more then LISS. if you're already on HIIT and weights, good for you.

Otherwise, you might want to recheck your caloric requirements using the harris-benedict equation. when you find out you're requirements (thats to stay the same weight) eat 500-1000 kcal below (at a lower weight i'd recommend eating only 500 below because you'll start eating below your BMR soon (which isn't healthy).

As always with weight loss, the nearer your target, the slower it is. your weight loss may take a while to get to where you want, but keep to it and eventually you'll reach it.

and remember when to weigh yourself.
