    Take these issues:

    Right to abortion
    Drug legalisation
    Gun control
    The EU
    Euthanasia
    Stem cell research
    Legalised prostitution
    Gay marriage
    Gay adoption
    Positive discrimination
    Capital punishment
    Faith schools
    Immigration
    National service
    ID cards
    Nuclear disarmament
    Corporal punishment

And sort them into the following categories:

    1. For
    2. Undecided but probably for
    3. Undecided
    4. Undecided but probably against
    5. Against

    Here's what I believe:

    Spoiler:
    Show

    For

    The right to abortion
    Gun control
    Legalised prostitution
    Gay marriage
    Gay adoption
    Positive discrimination (in certain situations)
    Nuclear disarmament
    Immigration
    National service
    Stem cell research

    Undecided but probably for

    Drug legalisation

    Undecided

    N/A

    Undecided but probably against

    Euthanasia

    Against

    Capital punishment
    Faith schools
    The EU
    ID cards
    Corporal punishment

I'm curious about TSR's stance on such matters :mmm:

Politically-speaking, those choices are all over the place and don't fit me into any one category - right-wing, left-wing or even centrist. However, these are how I view the respective topics.

Because instead of ID cards I believe the government should scrawl our names on our foreheads in permanent marker pen, lest we forget

Not everyone fits into a box  If you have your own views, that's fine and legitimate, regardless of whether you can be "labeled" as something

    Some interesting responses,

Why are some people for Gay Marraige but not Adoption?

It'd be interesting if all the responses were put in to poll form so it's easier to assess.

I'd hazard a guess that it's because whilst gay marriage is between two consenting adults, adoption involves a child and many people believe the child as a dependant minor shouldn't have two parents of the same sex for various reasons (most of which, in my opinion, are very weak) .

This would be a great way of filtering potential partners... I don't think they would approve of being 'screened' though. And I can't afford to be picky :p:
