Right to abortion - I am pro choice but not necessarily pro abortion.
Drug legalisation - Massively in favour of unilateral legalisation of all drugs. It is a matter of personal choice.
Euthanasia - What right does some religious nut have to harp on about what's best for me? If I want to die and am not completely loony I should have that right.
Legalised prostitution - Any other solution inevitably forces prostitutes into the hands of criminals.
Gay marriage - Doesn't hurt me, helps other couples express their love, what's not to like?

    Against
The EU - I want an immediate referendum. I have no problem with Europeans working together, living together, working side by side, but the EU is a step too far. We should be a community of equal, free, respectful and mutually defensive nations, not a union of federated states.
Positive discrimination - Actually increases racism and racial inequality because of the disdain held for many ethnic minority individuals in high posts as a result of being there through positive discrimination. Any form of discrimination beyond looking at personal merit in considering potential employees is completely unacceptable.
Capital punishment - Not an effective deterrent, does not deliver justice. Absolutely with the ECHR on this one and would march in the streets to stop it's reintroduction. Perhaps even go further than that. I don't just believe that it doesn't work, I believe that it is morally wrong to have a death penalty.
Faith schools - I object to publicly funded faith schools. If you want your kid to go to a private faith school, be my guest, although I'll still disagree with your choice to indoctrinate your kid in a load of crap, but the state should be completely separate from all religion.
Immigration - On the grounds that England, although not Britain as a whole, is under serious ecological pressure from urban sprawl, and that infrastructure in many parts of the country is close to collapse due to rising populations. Limiting immigration to, say, 50,000 p.a. from all sources (another reason to leave the EU) and booting out extant illegal immigrants and failed asylum seekers would help salve the situation.
National service - The army, let alone the much smaller RAF and RN, already has to be very selective when filling posts at both soldier and officer level. Why take up military resources training people who don't want to be in the military? Conscription should be reserved for national emergencies.
    ID cards - I have a driver's licence and a passport. **** off. Thanks.
Nuclear disarmament - If it's only us doing it, I am opposed - whilst nuclear weapons are still held by other nations then we should have them. However I think that we should be campaigning on the world stage for unilateral disarmament and for a new Geneva Convention to be signed that completely bans the use or possession of a nuclear weapon and authorises retaliation by the international community against states that contine to possess such power.
Corporal punishment - Doesn't work any more than capital punishment.

    Undecided
Gun control - On the one hand, I do think that there is a case for responsible citizens being legally allowed to purchase a handgun, bolt-action rifle or a shotgun, but at the same time guns aren't a problem in our society, especially when compared with the US where gun homicides are through the roof due to proliferation of firearms, and legalising them on a wide scale could create problems where there are none. I definitely don't support the right to carry firearms in public, concealed or not - weapons should be for home defence and shooting on the ranges.

    Undecided but probably for
Gay adoption - Never really given much thought to it, but I have no hatred for gay people so why should I hate them having kids?
Stem cell research - Generally for it, but I am less keen on embryonic research as opposed to adult cell research. That said, both could result in cures for serious diseases and improve human health drastically - what's not to like about that?
