I guess you mean it is offered with your new bank account, you should have been given a code to get it if not just ring YHA and tell them (I Work for YHA so do know what im talking about lol)

No, I didn't get the code or whatever. The question I'm trying to ask is do you need to register for a free yha account once you have upgraded your account to a student account? I don't plan on travelling to various destinations or rent properties. But do I still need to register for it anyway?

You only need to register if you want to.

But since it's free, you might as well if there's any chance you will use it

    So it's optional?
I'm not sure which is the more stupid question: this, or the person earlier who asked if the 2008 Clearing page was for this year.

It's close, but I think they just have it.
