Okay so in a month I'm gonna be starting my second year of IB. I'm taking Physics SL. So this year we have 2 more topics left then the options.

But I just wanted to know your opinions on the Physics SL options.

Which is easier? I'm really interested in space and hope to take Astrophysics. But is it easy? I heard it's only tough because there's a lot of memorization. Has anyone done that option?

And what about Relativity? What is it about? Can someone explain that.

    Thank you for your time

Yeah astro is quite easy to handle, although yeah there are some definitions to rmb.
I did option A (sight and waves) and B (nuclear and atomic physics)
If you wanna do relativity (option D) you needa stick with particle physics which is abit difficult.

Honestly astrophysics was the most interesting thing I ever did in Physics - but it's true that it is a lot of memorization. Nevertheless, I recommend it, because especially the calculations are very easy.

My other option (option G - Electromagnetic waves) would sound interesting but ended up destroying my paper 3. It was just very boring... but then again I could also blame it on our teacher: we only used a week on the subject.

thank you, I'm really really hoping to do Astrophysics for our options.
But we're gonna vote for it in class, so I hope that earns a lot of votes!
