Hi there. Well i just had something that i wanted to ask. This year, Ucas is offering the a level students a new option where if they exceed their ( firm choice) offer, they can register for Adjustment where they contact other universities to see if they can get a place there with their grades. Well i was wandering, would this be applicable at oxford, especially for Chemistry course? I know oxbridge doesnt take part in clearing, but is it possible to get a place through this option?
Thanks.

i seriously doubt oxbridge are in adjustment. they only give one chance!

I have not found an official Oxford Adjustment position.
But I can't see it happening unless applicants applied to Oxford in the 08/09 cycle and were near miss candidates.

At the moment knows anything about Adjustment.
But read the adjustment FAQ for my understanding of the situation.

Nothing. If Oxford take anyone through Adjustment I will eat my hat.

And I don't even wear a hat, so this is a wager which could involve considerable expense for me.
