Me and Some friends are planning to go next August? We will all be 21! Anyone got a rough idea of how much a 10 day - 14 day trip will cost altogether? Also I want to travel around America for about a month, anyone got any interesting places worth visiting for a few days?

I went there last year (was only 18 though, so got kicked out of casinos quite alot ). Las Vegas is surprisingly very cheap, especially the hotels! We stayed at the Luxor hotel (the pyramid shaped one) with the rate being $60/night for a double bedroom! I imagine a two week trip would cost about £800 for flight + accomodation. Obviously the extra depends on what you do and how you spend. I think £1500 all together is enough to have a LOT of fun (unless you're looking to gamble serious amounts).

Other good places in America obviously include LA, Miami, Orlando and New York is obviously a must!

God that question mark was out of place.

LV is fairly inexpensive compared to what you might think, according to a friend who went there to see Ricky Hatton fight a couple of months back. Don't bother gambling much, it isn't fun losing all of your money. If you're going for a month have your return flight booked before you arrive, and be very clear how you're going to finance your trip. Immigration officers get a little frisky if you: 1) only have a one-way ticket and 2) can't tell them clearly how you're funding a month in their country.

From LV driving to LA is a fairly good idea, it's about four hours down I-15. If you want to go anywhere east you will probably have to consider flying.
