    Me and Some friends are planning to go next August? We will all be 21! Anyone got a rough idea of how much a 10 day - 14 day trip will cost altogether? Also I want to travel around America for about a month, anyone got any interesting places worth visiting for a few days?

    I went there last year (was only 18 though, so got kicked out of casinos quite alot :laugh:). Las Vegas is surprisingly very cheap, especially the hotels! We stayed at the Luxor hotel (the pyramid shaped one) with the rate being $60/night for a double bedroom! I imagine a two week trip would cost about £800 for flight + accomodation. Obviously the extra depends on what you do and how you spend. I think £1500 all together is enough to have a LOT of fun (unless you're looking to gamble serious amounts).

    Other good places in America obviously include LA, Miami, Orlando and New York is obviously a must!

    LV is fairly inexpensive compared to what you might think, according to a friend who went there to see Ricky Hatton fight a couple of months back. Don't bother gambling much, it isn't fun losing all of your money. If you're going for a month have your return flight booked before you arrive, and be very clear how you're going to finance your trip. Immigration officers get a little frisky if you: 1) only have a one-way ticket and 2) can't tell them clearly how you're funding a month in their country.

    From LV driving to LA is a fairly good idea, it's about four hours down I-15. If you want to go anywhere east you will probably have to consider flying.
