I have to say I am somewhat nervous about meeting new people, being in a new home and living in a different town to what I'm used to... The worry of having to find my way around by myself and I am a shy person at heart. Does anyone else have these worries? I imagine it's normal

I was last year too but you'll have no problems finding things as it's all bunched together near enough and there's plenty of maps around/given to you. If you're living in one of the dorms you'll meet a few people on your first day then the people from lectures in freshers week, you can message me about it too if you want to know more

I am really nervous. I leave my job 5 weeks tomorrow and am so used to being the youngest in my office (I'm 22) & being around older people that I am worried I really am not going to fit in at all with younger lot. i think i was born 45.

I was nervous when I first moved to England for university, but 3 years on and im doing great and met a lot of great people. Manchester and Salford are easy to find your way around.

I'm happy to hear that they are not complicated places, I am one for forgetting and getting lost (Forgetful & Dislexic) But I am both nervous & looking forward to the whole experience I have been getting ready with everything I need. I've tried not to worry too much though Have to try to keep my  :p:
