Typical nice guy here - don't talk about people behind their backs, don't lie unless absolutely have to, always do people favours, never confront people, always see the good in others.. etc. People take advantage and I end up being the **** or feeling left out.

I'm thinking of being an arse for a while and see what happens. What do you reckon? It's not in my nature though, so I'd have to force it. Has anyone else done this?
Don't do it OP! - 'tis less about being an arse, and more about being assertive :yep:

As a lot of people have said already, just learn when to say no.. be assertive but stay nice - that way it's better for you and the people around you

It's quite possible to be an arse and not talk behind people's backs or lie.

Don't come running if you have no friends left! Don't alter your personality for the sake of it. Just be the nice person you are and people will appreciate it.
