I am 18 years old, male and have never had sex before. Never even had a girlfriend before and I hear most people have lost their virginity at 15 or 16. I am fearful that girls will think I am a freak and not want to be with a guy who lacks experience at such an old age. Am I a freak and am I doomed to live a life without sex and a girlfriend?

why the difference because of ethnicity? I don't get it.
Are you suggesting that Native American people for example may insist on losing their virginity to another Native American person and because they are few and far between they would have less opportunity to meet - i.e. may have sex later?

Girls don't care if you've slept with 0 or 100 people, they care about confidence. You just haven't found the right person yet and that's completely normal. Sure there are people who have had sex before 18, but that's due to many different factors, most people don't blossom until their late teens so there's nothing to worry about.
Just wait til you find the right person instead of jumping in the bed just for the sake of it.

It'd be way better if you weren't freaked out about it. It's really nothing important. If you want it, do it, if you get the opportunity do it, if you don't get the opportunity, seek it, etc. The truth is that if you wanted to do it, you would find a way to do it. It's not that imposible to realise.

I reckon the problem arises when the desires/plans of the two individuals partaking in the act aren't properly aligned. So it may not have been talked about fully in advance so for one individual it may be a one-night thing and for the other the feelings of a relationship could overwhelm them and make them subconsciously infatuated and emotionally dependent on the other person.
Of course if you REALLY wanted to do it that badly then I'm sure you could just go to an escort/prostitute/brothel etc. But with any such act won't you have to think of the emotional repercussions from it? Out of curiosity how would you 'seek' it in a way which didn't involve financial exchange but which was efficient in terms of time spent?

well, if you're from a minority you COULD choose someone from another minority ethnic group or even the MAJORITY ethnic group? Why not? I mean in the UK there's a 92% chance that you'll be sleeping with an ethnically 'British' lady as opposed to someone else - if you're going to sideline 92% of potential mates based on ethnicity then obviously it will be more difficult.
Are you native American by any chance? I am sort of a minority - I'm still Caucasian but not northern European (I'm mainly Persian) but I still don't understand quite what you're saying!

think about how many people in your year at high school would have had sex... i can think of lots that just wouldn't.. the kind of people that are cool and everything and really friendly but just don't get involved with girls or whatever.
it happens all the time, just because some people do lose their virginity early, there are just as many people that don't... its certainly nothing to get worried about, it's something special to hold onto and look forward to sharing with somebody.
