Can the implant cause infertility? watch

    • Thread Starter

I dunno this may be a stupid question but my mum said she a heard something about the implant causing infertility if used over long periods of time. Mine is due out next May and i was planning to get another one put straight in, but my mum think i should wait a few months between the two. Whether or not implants cause problems i don't see how a few months break will make a difference, i don't want to go back on the pill and i can't afford to risk getting pregnant at this time in my life, but i don't want to be unable to concieve if i want to in later life simply because of my method of contraception. Can anyone clear this up for me or should i speak to my doctor?
