Really can't see it suiting me, have spoken to some of my male friends and they said it wouldn't be right

Really keen on 2 piercings in my lobe now, so I can wear a thin silver dangly earring in one, then a diamond stud in the second one. I think this will look more me

It looks pretty with the right stud, but it's not something I would want done. I've got a helix peircing and that's enough hassle.

So it will heal over if taken out? Does it stop everyone from being able to wear ipod earphones?

You'll probably be left with a small indent/scar where it was, but it's hardly going to be noticeable. I've never had a problem wearing earphones.

What are the different pieces of jewellery you can put in?
Preferably with pics if someone cares to explain to a novice :P

Love it on most people just not sure if it would suit me.

Most people wear labrets, barbells or BCRs, but there's also circular barbells and spirals. Each of those come in countless colours/patterns/designs/etc. As long as it's the right gauge (thickness of the jewellery) and length you can wear whatever you want. I'd suggest getting it pierced with a labret/barbell though, and waiting until it's healed if you want to wear a type of ring.

i have both mine done and love them. the pain wasn't too bad, the crunch noise bothered me more than the pain to be honest. wearing earphones was uncomfortable for a little while but it's absolutely fine now
