Ok so I have a bad feeling my predicted grades aren't going to be good enough to get me into a Uni I want to go to. However here is my plan

...I will work hard all year, and make sure my actual grades are good enough for a university. I'll then go to somewhere like Camp America, wait for a year then apply for a University.

Is this such a bad idea?

Why would that be a bad idea?

It might be seen as ''wasting a year'' which is my own fault tbh.

Not really it sounds like you'll be making good use of it. It's not like you're just sitting around and watching t.v

What if you did "waste a year" that way? Starting university at 19 rather than at 18 isn't really such a disaster, is it?:dontknow:
As long as you find something to keep something to keep yourself occupied, so you won't just sit around the house feeling depressed that you're not at university yet, there's nothing wrong with taking a year out.

From the way you've described it though, you'll be taking 2 years off - well one to do resits, and then another - so you'll be applying for 2011 entry - have I got that right?
