ok so basically I came to the decision to go through clearing on the basis of not being happy with the course I have chosen to do which is business management and I really hope to do business studiess instead at hull university.

However, recently I heard that a number of universities have restricted the amount of people that are going to be using clearing. this is because of the increase in applicants. So basically I am really scared that I wont be able to get university because of this.

Sorry. I just need assurance that I will get a place hull or any other university.

Depends on your grades I suppose but there should still be a reasonable amount of spaces as I don't think it is dramatically reduced, if at all tbh. I'd also think you'd definetly get a place at some sort of uni so wouldn't worry about not getting a uni at all.

Business Management focuses on the Management of a business while Business Studies focuses on the theory of business in general.

Ok that has made me less stressed than before. Thank you!
My dad said to me that he read an article saying how its going to be harder for students who are going through clearing. Also, some of my friends said the same. So, I am really worried, as long as I get into a university I will be ok.

Probably true but personally I think this would apply to people who need to go through clearing because they haven't made the grades for their conditionals and not people who have already received and turned down offers but want to change courses.

Hull uni has enjoyed one of the largest increases in applicants (25% over last year) in the country. Perhaps there may be less clearing spaces than previous years.
