I'm going to jump in here and ask a few questions too I've been looking at the modules and things but I'm getting really confused as to what I need to take and how each continues in the second semester.

I'd like to do Geography (tis my degree) and some statistics in first year. Along with something else (maybe Geoscience if I don't come up with any other ideas). Can someone tell me what modules I'd need to take, and if that would work at all? Thanks for any help <3
Have a look at the paragraph "degree structure" http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/gg/cours...y.shtml#degree
In your first year in geography you have to take certain core modules which you find right here http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/gg/curre..._subhons.shtml
You can take to other subjects in your first year and one other subject in your second year.
As far as I know you can do geography in the Arts and Science faculty, so you choose nearly every additional subject.

That second link is perfect - thanks!

Still not too sure what the modules for the statistics course are - I can only find one o.O

Edit: Also, GE1001 and GE1002 don't appear to be on the module selection list?

Your welcome. Im not sure if got the information at the Maths department website but it seems as you have to take a certain core module in your first year which is MT1002 and you can choose another module in your second semester which could be a Statistics module.

Im absolutely not sure about it, but there are some Maths students on this board who should be able to help you.

Yeah I had a look at that. If I don't know the course times for GE1001/1002 I have no idea if can do it though. I have a terrible feeling that the second semester stats module will clash with geography o.O
