Student Finance Query watch

    • Thread Starter

When I applied for SFE, I asked to be income assessed. In the first notification I got, it said i was to be non-income assessed. Now as far I'm aware (from reading on here), they said they were going to re-assess everyone who asked to be income-assessed and finialse a grant of some sort, so I didn't think much of that. I rang them up just to confirm and they said the same thing to me.

Anyway, I recieved my payment schedule this morning (although I've not yet been re-assessed for the grant) and they mentioned nothing of the grant I applied for. I was just wandering if this was standard procedure for anyone else in my situation and if I should ignore the letter or whether I should phone them (for the umpteenth time) to try and sort whats going on because it seems they have totally ignored the fact that I asked for a grant by sorting out payment dates and all that shabang without re-assessing me.

same thing happened to me. weird.
