I have chosen my AS levels already: Bio, Chem, Physics and Psychology.
But i have already done German at AS level and want to swap Psychology for german A2, how much scope for changing subjects is there? Does it vary between schools or what? Can my school force me to stick with psychology?

Ah right, a few of my friends used to go there

I'm not entirely sure, the best thing you could do is call them and ask. If you've already done German at AS, and the grade you've got is a good one, I'd have thought they'd be more enthusiastic about putting you in for A2 German than psychology.

It shouldn't matter as people often change after they get their GCSE results and realise it might be better to do slightly different subjects. In my college for the first 2 weeks people were able to change subjects as well if they weren't happy with the ones they picked. So you should be fine to change, just ring up and ask

shouldn't be a problem, my school allows you to change your options up to a few weeks in of term. They know you will do better in things that you want to do so they should be fine. But there may be other factors so don't get your hopes up too much, for instance timetabling your new choice and whether the course is full.

    I can't see why they'd mind.

    Just ask them about it.

I have an induction day on 3rd of september, Is this like an admin day where you get your timetable, and presumably can change your subjects?

At Beckfoot you can change your subjects within 4 weeks of the start if term i think it is.
You just have to ask the subject teacher and then go speak to the Head of Year.
