    Helloooo.

I don't wear goggles. My eyes have been fine thus far, but they will gradually **** up from not wearing goggles? Furthermore, will it improve my swimming (speed) if I wore goggles? I do have some goggles, but they got on my nerves. :/

Also, do you wear a cap?

    Thanks. :moon:

    P.s. - I love the word 'goggles'.

I wear goggles because my eyes start to hurt if I don't.
Plus I prefer swimming with them as they allow me to stay underwater for longer due to my eyes not becoming irritated.
I don't go as far as a cap, no.

I don't wear them either , My eyes have been fine thus far aswell . You have nothing to worry about. It could improve your swimming , the goggles may give you a better perspective of where you're going. but i find that wearing no gogles is better for me , all the water plashing in my eyes , and making me temperoarily blind , makes me feel as though I'm going as fast as lightening.

P.s. - I hate the word goggles , because I usually type googles instead ( Accidently of course :p: )

Google Images is better. You don't even need to turn off the 'moderate search' filter.

I wear a cap and goggles when I swim (I have long hair htat I don't want flapping around and the water hurts my eyes). The cap could affect your speed, not sure about the goggles though.

Swimming is so much easier with goggles. Anyone I see swimming without goggles is usually thrashing around trying to keep their head above water, giving them an awful stroke. Using goggles makes so much more sense!

I don't wear a cap, but wear goggles because I keep my contact lenses in.

Goggles for the win, can also make you go faster and also keeps the crap out. Plus chlorine made my eyes itch resulting in eyes turning red.
