I found the first article personally hilarious.
"He is very black".

Thats really interesting, I love reading old things about what seemed rather normal back then.
I should scan in this newspaper we have. Its the local paper from 1930, a special issue of 'What our lives will be like in 50 years'. So its all about the things that will be 'normal' in 1980. Its so interesting, loads of the stuff is spot on and its weird to read how they thought this was 'amazing'. For example it discusses television, saying 'its a large mirror-like object that displays images which can be broadcast, much like radio, from anywhere in the world! Now not only will you be able to listen to your favourite sport events you will actually be able to SEE them as though you were really there from the comfort of your own home!'
Lots of it is pretty accurate until you get to the invention of the 'family plane'. Apparently anyone who's anyone has a family plane, nobody really drives cars anymore. Planes are the way to go. It even has images of huge car-park buildings but with little 'pigeon holes' where you can park your plane for a trip into town, and it describes how there will be a super-fast air highway which will take you all the way from Sevenoaks to London in 15 minutes.

Bloody hell, $100. Rich sum*****.
Maybe I should just 'gaol' him myself and get half the reward and keep him for myself in the cage.

Imagine people reading about us in 200 years. We are gonna be so dead, if anyone is reading this in 2209 I WAS ALIVE AND I WAS INTELLIGENT AND HAD REAL EMOTIONS AND INTERESTS.
I don't want to die.

That's quite cool.
