I've changed my choices slightly too, not putting down Liverpool now (They say I couldn't get acommodation there because I live too close ) so Bristol is now in there for Geology

how close is too close to get accommodation generally??

Well I'm 12 miles from Liverpool uni, and 15 from Manchester, and neither will give me accomodation but they say that's because they're so oversubscribed.... maybe less oversubscribed unis would still offer it to locals.
