    Hahaha so true!
My seventeenth was even Classics themed (toga party HELL YEAHZ). Although in this instance 'classics themed' was little more than a synonym for 'alcohol themed'. :p:

Ps - I hardly think French and German make you less of a nerd
you're an even bigger nerd nerdface
at least french and german are spoken now

hahahahhahaha i still remember part of the aeniad off by heart "but the queen for a long time now, wounded by a serious affliction, nurtured the wound in her veins and was consumed by an unseen fire. the great courage of that hero...."

i know more but i'm boring myself :teeth:

awesome party tbh, my 17th was 'Doctor Who' themed. NO I AM NOT A NERD

Pfft Doctor Who might make you a nerd but if you're a nerd with DAVID TENNANT AND BILLIE PIPER then

and haha I swear parts of the aeneid are permenantly etched into my memory. We had a classics dinner after a 'british museum trip' and one of my teachers got so pissed it was unreal, held up his glass and pretty much yelled "SUM PIUS AENEAS" to himself in the middle of Prezzos. Later he also called for the "arbiter bibendi". I **** you not.

And this is why they should not let Essex people out of Essex. OH THE SHAME.
hahahahahhaha I know! whenever people are like 'where you from?' and i reply 'essex' it always seems to be a conversation ender... or the answer '...ah.'
and hahahahahahhahaha all i can remember of the latin is like 'at regina gravi' or whatever. i can't eblieve i got a B in GCSE latin (3 marks off an A) i actually beat so many people in my year who were so much better than me :teeth: i was so so so so sooooo **** i really couldn't understand it at all
but now i'm doing spanish gcse i'm like AHHH VERB ENDINGS LYK LATIN :/ but it's not too bad

Thank god I know Italian or I'd never have passed. :p:

I went to an open day at St Andrews, and was talking to one guy there who asked me where I was from. I said 'Essex' and he said "Good Lord".
    hahahahahahahahhaa
