Probably something to do with the fact that women's sexuality throughout history has generally been suppressed and there's something naughty or taboo about a woman masturbating. Also most sexual imagery in advertising/porn is generated to suit the desires of heterosexual men and this has infiltrated the consciousness of men & women alike.

This is right, I agree.

There's something perverted about sexual women, but not with men, because they've always expressed their sexually in an almost evident/intrusive way, so it's something "too predictable" and therefore the sexual tension sort of fades away.

Personally I wouldn't watch people masturbating unless they were doing it with someone else. Porn is fun when there are at least 2 people in it.
