Why dont you want to have a family and children? Surely that's the whole point of living, to have a family of your own!
How on earth did you come up with that assumption?!? Just because I never spent my childhood imagining getting married doesn't mean I don't want to get married now and have children.

I didn't really give it a thought. Too busy doing other things. Probably when I was about 15 I started thinking about what I'd like my wedding day to be, but its not like I'm obsessive and can't wait to get married.

I always hear brides say "I've dreamed of this day since I was a little girl" or "I used to practise getting married, walking around with a pillowcase on my head for a veil".

I'm wondering, how many of you TSRians actually dreamed of your wedding when you were younger?

Personally, getting married was way down on the list of my dreams, I'm not even sure it was on my list.
Definitely. It's always been everything to me. That and having a family of my own. I mean, I dreamt of being an actress or a singer or something as well, but I always knew I wanted to marry and have children
    I can't wait!!

    Tough frickin' cookie.

The only weddings men dream of involve their favourite porn star/model/celebrity-of-other-description in very little clothing... and the wedding night! Everything else isn't really important...

No, although meeting the "right" girl was. I remember when I was a kid queuing up for Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris, and there was this couple in front of me that seemed so romantically engaged it was quite lovely. Ahh

I don't think so but then I dreamt about a lot of things, and they went in and out of favour. I dreamt about having a family of my own though.

Nope - I wanted to be an archaeologist, which is a bit of an odd ambition for a 6 year old I’ll admit! Somehow I’ve ended up studying chemistry!

Nope, I was so surrounded by divorce and hurt when I was little that I used to swear I would never get married. I still doubt I will ever trust someone enough to marry but who knows what will happen :girl:
