Hi, new to the forums everyone! I was just wondering, since the degree is MPharm, you can pass with just 40%, which is like having a third except it must be harder as it is a master's, but actually how hard is it just to pass an MPharm degree at 40% which is the minimum level?
Thanks guys![]()

Why is everyone so concerned about the minimum they should expect to do these days? If you want to be successful at anything, you've got to be a hard charger. If you always do your best (without lying to yourself about what exactly your 'best' is), then you'll never have to worry about 'minimum' anything.

you have to pass the Mpharm degree with 50% (pharmacy practice modules etc) and not 40%.

Pharmacy practice modules tend to need 50% and the other science ones usually need 40%. However, the fourth year is usually classed as completely practice based and as such you'll need 50% to pass.
In conclusion, its easy to pass the pharmacy degree - but you should be looking to get better grades as the competition for jobs will be hotting up when Keele, Preston and Huddersfield start churning out pharmacy graduates. -
