Just wondering why, i have high bodyfat, but still, i don\'t see people like this. I'm just wondering if i loose bodyfat will they pop-out? As i really hope so cos it'l look awesome, as they are symetrical across my pecs.

Thanks for any experiences shared etc.

Because veins are a pretty fundamental part of the human body?

    You'll be fine

It's normal for veins to appear quite close to the surface and, having lost lots of weight myself, they should all appear just as normal after weight loss.
    Good luck!

Some people are genetically more vascular than others (e.g. Adonis) - if you drop to 10% you should appear pretty vascular.

    yes.

some [like me] have veins closer to the surface than most
others [like me] also have very thin skin

combine the two, and you get someone who has chest veins even at 18% BF [sticky out ones - albeit at that level of BF%, I need to be pumped to see it, around 9% BF it sticks out without being pumped]

Might jsut be an asian thing cos of our skin colour, i'm pretty vascular and they're all green, same with other asian dudes down the gym.

    probs

I was told veins only appear blue cos of the fat covering them filtering out the light

this is kinda true, cos my thick veins are skin-colored, and some of them even start off green then when pumped become skin colored

Yep. The veins themselves are blue-ish (well the deoxygenated blood inside them is). However the skin filters out certain frequencies of light making them appear slightly green. If you are Asian the effect is more dramatic because darker skin filters more light.

Yes. My body fat is probably 12% or slightly over but you can vividly see the blue network under my skin, especially when I'm working out.
