I feel sorry for her, but she's so stupid. At least Tanya is trying to hide things around Greg, Max is so obvious about it all and she's still with him!
Stupidity is a dislike now? :P

Eastenders has been boring for the past year.. Mercy can't keep the show going on her own.. they need to mix it up.

    Yusef is on BBC2 :holmes:
Saw him on an episode of spooks earlier as some uranium-searching gangster.

Haven't watch EE for about a month now. Don't know if I can be bothered.

Haha I've seen him in so much too! Spooks being one of them. Ta for that.

It is getting better. Not that this would be hard. It's a complete mess, yet both the BBC and its hardcore fanbase are delusional as the ratings are holding steady. This is more habit than anything. Last time it went completely ****ways, circa 2004, it wasn't half as bad as this yet the ratings dropped through a cliff. I think despite all the modern day distractions, not least the internet, regular TV shows namely soaps have an extremely easy ride now because they've become such a constant in the world of too much information. Indeed I bet many have EE as background noise while in the web.

If there was any real justice, the BBC would be having crisis talks and chucking out a producer or ten. Then move onto the on screen 'talent'...

    Oh well.

Have to say, Max must have read psychology books when he was a kid because he seems to be so good in situations where he can turn the situation around on to someone i.e. that he did to Vanessa today. I can't wait when she finds out, hope she does what some lady did somewhere in the world and chopped off her husband's cahonas or something to that effect.

I cringed seeing Tamwar dance, completely dislike his character tbh - him and Afia are just annoying.

But yeah, Janine did get my sympathy vote and tbh, I'd hate living in the square, if ever you are taken off in a police car, you get a nice gawping audience (Ron Jeremy included) to wave you off.

Yes lets all feel sorry for the murderer (Barry) and attempted murder three times. Ignoring her serious abuse and monstrous manipulative ways. Boohoo Janine.

There is no need to be like that.

As things go, I didn't like Barry as a character. He was rotten in many ways. That is not to say I think he deserved to die but then again, when you watch the scenes, it wasn't a completely cold-blooded case of murder either. She pushed him off her and he fell. Obviously she was responsible for not calling for help. But that is a little different to actively shooting/stabbing etc someone...

And, I am well aware that the fictional character Janine has done some awful things. But no character is all good or all bad. When you look at her background and the way she has been shoved from pillar to post for years, it is a little easier to have sympathy for her.

Plus, in this instance, it was very clear that Janine had formed a bond with her grandma and was genuinely enjoying the opportunity to learn more about herself and her mother, from a character quite similar to herself. Why wouldn't you feel sorry for her when she is being prevented from grieving in peace?

 Thanks for heads up. If someone can feel sorry for a fictional character, then is not possible to dislike a fictional character too? What would be the point of fiction if we are not suppose to like and hate characters we watch and read? I could of sworn that is one of the reasons we have protagonists and antagonists in the first place. In order for us to root for them for example. So no one should want to will their favourite characters to overcome conflicts, because after all its not real folks!. I'm confused to what you do when you watch fictional shows and films. Do you just sit there and cease all brain activity? because after all whatever you are watching isn't real. Don't feel glad for them, its not real! don't feel sad for them, its not real! and make sure you don't hate them because you guessed it, It is not real!

:lolwut: are you nuts? the woman should be in jail and locked up. She not only pushed someone off a cliff but also left him to die on purpose. Under law she is legally responsible for the cause of his death and should have gone out her way to help him. But no, she then showed no ounce of humanity and actually sat by him as he died, enjoying every last moment. Yet that is not enough for you? fine.

On top of that, she nearly strangled Laura Beale too death. Gloated that she murdered Barry to Natalie Evans. Has drugged Jack Branning to get him to confess his past and black mailed him. Thanks to her speeding runs over and kills Danielle Jones in the car. Black mails Ian Beale. Tried to frame Ian and the Mitchells for Archie Mitchells murder. Poisons Ryan Malloy to the point that he is then hospitalised. Manipulates Whitney to becoming an escort. Oh and I nearly forgot to mention she kidnaps a baby and as a result of her actions nearly had it killed by a speeding train. If it had not been for the timely intervention of Ryan Malloy.

So I am sorry if I think Jannie Butcher (perfect name) is a complete psycho who deserves to be locked up. But she deserves life imprisonment on the counts of robbery, kidnap, black mail and two counts of manslaughter (at least). I am all for reforming criminals but she is a clear and serious danger to the square

Clearly the only solution to this is a threesome.
