Black peep toe/courts/gladiator heels with a black blazer to cover up outside?

I would love these with this dress http://www.office.co.uk/womens/offic.../5482/14880/1/

But if you wanted something a bit more classic then:

    or

    http://www.office.co.uk/womens/offic.../4120/13001/1/

    Maybe a blazer like this:
    http://www.asos.com/Asos/Asos-Roll-S...t=-1&clr=Black

Don't know if you'll like any of this but it's the kind of thing I like

I'd try going for a nude leather pump.

Or possibly even yellow... but the warm kind, not the fluorescent or pale kind. It could clash badly, but it could not.

I don't know, black with purple seems far too... safe for me.

As for the jacket, I really can't say. I just wouldn't bother with one.

    Lovely, lovely dress though.

The bold shoes and blazer are lovely!

The only thing is, I'm like 5'11"/ 6'00" ish, so I tend to stick to smaller heels...also have insane size 9 feet :o:

Thanks for the links though, I really like the blazer

Edit: Ignore the size 9 comment though, office do 9's,

Hmm, I'd say plain shoes, in any colour you want really. I think I'd get the dress in black, and accessorize with lots of bright colours. Pop colour blazer perhaps? Definately a blazer, but its up to you with colours etc. Black seems to safe though, I agree.

    I'm 5'11" and have size 9 feet too - doesn't it suck?
Though Office are definitely better than most in terms of stocking size 9

They have a "Mid Heel" section on the Office website, not seen what shoes are there but they might have some? I hate wearing huge heels too because I just feel like a giant! Hope you find some

And I love that blazer too, might buy it for myself :p:

Yep! I hate when drunk people think it's funny to point it out too :p:

I might have a look, I've given up looking for nice flats to go out in. They are so hard to find!

The blazer is lovely, I'm in love with a few topshop have in currently too

If I had an all black dress I'd definitely be inclined to add colour - although I love the shoes in the first link posted by anoif_ !

I think a blazer could ruin the shape of the dress? I would perhaps go for a thin, more fitted cardy type thing - but rather not anything at all, I hate carrying jackets around :p:

I know you said you are tall, but I think shoes without heels could make your feet look bigger, so I'd suggest heels which are just big enough to stop your feet from looking at an angle to your leg. Plus walking in heels looks a lot nicer than without

    Enjoy your dress OP! x

I agree, I absolutely love the look of heels and how they make my feet look less giant, but they make me look more giant

I will probably wear heels however!

Thanks for all the comments guys

There's surely nothing wrong with being taller? Showing off nice long legs etc...?

I might be a little biased though seeing as I'm 5'0

Yeah, isn't it just so much fun - as if I didn't already know I had these huge feet :p:

And it's a nightmare, nice going out flats are impossible to find

Was torn between linking that one and a gorgeous Topshop one I'd seen that was more feminine and less "boyfriend" blazer. I'm tornnn!

I would wear with nude pumps, and big vintage-esque pearl necklace, and if you wear bold a fun colourful jacket. I think this is quite Blair (gossip girl).
