"Infamy, Infamy, they've all got it in for me!"

And OP, it couldn't be clearer. It's in English and pretty simple :|. Which part/which words are you struggling with...?

PS: Hint: you're really missing the point in your interpretation of the final couplet.

Basically, I spend my life perplexed by this awarenedd of others and judgement/control thing. So I'm wondering If there is anything I can do to self protect more, or if it's just in vain trying to take on strategies and behaviours which I have no predisposition to and more sensible to play to my strengths. Idea?

I interpret the final couplet as an observation that the better the start one has in life, the better the family, the better the education, the better the upbringing, the better one might rightly expect the behaviour and achievement to be. That which goes from good to evil seems far more poignant, more unjust, than that which is evil by nature. Those who turn their gifts to the service of evil are so much worse than those who know or have known nothing else. And the old bard sure did have it right .

Oh, and the first bit is just a silly line from Carry on Cleo, which I though might lend a lighter note to so serious a subject. Fail on my part :p:.
