If you accidentally fell pregnant at uni, would you be kicked out? watch

    Nothing would happen.

    It would be down to you what to do, i.e. whether to stay at Uni or have a year out from the course etc.

    Why would they kick you out? As Squeal said, staying at uni might be hard if you're having a baby, but not impossible. They'll only kick you out if it affects your work enough for you to fail. And even then they'd take your circumstances into account and may be willing to give you a second chance.

    Actually now I think about it, universities normally provide child care facilities for students and staff with young children. So they have support for people in that situation.

    No. The biggest problem would be if you were taking a course the had compusory labs which you couldn't do while being pregnet (health and saftey reasons, mainly chemistry labs). Other than that, the University shouldn't get involved!

    hahaha why would the uni kick you out? you can stay there as long as you please, im pretty sure theres even a programme for you to take a kind of 'maternity leave' and pick up your studies after you've given birth or whatever

    Thanks everyone but it was a false alarm anyway so i'm happy.
