i read somewhere if you have a day where you eat less than usual that should boost it up? or eat less and exercise more than usual for a day/ or longer maybe?

    thanks for any ideas

The best way of getting past this weight loss plateau is to change your diet and exercise, in order to confuse your body. You've stopped loosing weight because your body has become accustomed to your diet and exercise. Therefore, eat less for one week and then your usual amount the next to get your metabolism up again and at the same time, do other exercises. For example, if you've been cycling, take up running, or vice versa and increase the intensity or length of time you exercise for. Good luck!

Mix it up...change everything, your diet, your exercise(do this whenever your body feels accustomed to the exercise) Listen to Narik!

    lol

I have read though that changing your macronutrients (amount of) for a couple of days helps but they normally focus on carb cycling.

Please don't ask me to cite my source.

EDIT: Oh hell, I may as well....http://www.BBC.co.uk/sister_site_you_can_trust.squat
