I've just bought a Casio fx83es scientific calculator. When I try to add decimal numbers together, the result comes out as a fraction. E.g
    2.2 + 2.2 = 22/5.

On the screen there are tabs at the top, the letter d and maths are highlighted. I pressed shift 9 then mode, and set it as mthio.

I've looked through the manual, and tried resetting the calculator but to no success. If anybody could help me out that would be much appreciated.
