    Maths: A
    Statistics: A
    Mechanics: A
    Physics: A

    Higher Chemistry (crash): A

Very chuffed! Wasn't expecting the A in Chemistry, WOO!
Is there a third Applied Mathematics discipline offered, because I'm sure there's one in our school that isn't Statistics or Mechanics.

    OH MY GOD YES!!!!

    Biology-A
Geography-A(don't know how because I made up answers and answered a section we hadn't been taught just because I thought I'd know it better. Guess I did after all)
Maths-A(And everyone said I'd fail. Myself included)
    English-A
Physics-B(I should have had an A. Hopefully I can appeal because there is no way it can have been more than a mark under the cut off)
    Chemistry-B(same as Physics)
German-B(I'm not taking it next year so this doesn't bother me)
    Drama-1

Overall they were pretty good grades though I'm pissed off about Physics and Chemistry since I've had A's throughout the entire year in both of them. Oh well, I'm taking both at higher next year so I can improve then.

Did you meet your predictions? Basically yes

If you applied to uni, have you met the offer? Didn't apply.
What decisions have you made about any further study? That I'm going to carry on with the Highers I've chosen.
What made you pleased/disappointed about your results? I thought I would fail most of them!
Anything you would have done differently in the past year if you could have done them again? Study harder.
Could you look at the results first or did you get a parent to? I looked at them first (they were texted to me - then I told my parents).
What time did you find out your results? 8:10am
Did you feel nervous? Surprisingly, no.
How do you feel now after knowing? Relieved & very happy!

Same! What languages are you going to do? 2010 entry?
    Yeah 2010.

They Offer French AND Spanish & International Relations - I can't really choose between my French and Spanish! The only problem is I need to find out if this course is balanced or if the languages take up more time and space. Not sure about the Year Abroad though - sounds expensive!

I'm sitting AH French this year, along with H Drama and then I will probably crash H Modern Studies (having never done modern studies before)

Do you reckon my results are good enough for an unconditional? (I also reckon I have a pretty decent personal statement as I am heavily involved in Fairtrade and recently visited South Africa as part of a school partnership - I think this is related to the course well)

Technically I suppose I should be happy, given that I crashed Chemistry, but my chances of getting into medical school without doing another science degree first just got a good bit slimmer. It's possible that I could get into Dundee or Aberdeen but my first choices were Glasgow and Edinburgh... ah well. I cried for a while after but then I had a nap (pulled an all-nighter you see) and felt better after. It's not the end of the world- I'll be a doctor someday, SQA, whether you like it or not! :p:

    Met MS, biology and RMPS.

What decisions have you made about any further study?

Taking a gap year and going travelling, after I got rejected from St Andrews last year.

What made you pleased/disappointed about your results?

Wanted an A in Modern Studies and thought I'd done better in Business Management, but m'oh well!

Anything you would have done differently in the past year if you could have done them again?

Played a little less poker, studied a little more. I feel I wasted the year after working my socks off in 5th year.

What time did you find out your results?

    8am.

How do you feel now after knowing?

Bit nervous that my grades won't be good enough when I re-apply for St A's, but we shall see what happens.

Pretty chuffed with my results, especially with english as I thought I was going to get a C! A wee bit disappointed with music, but I'm more relieved than anything else.
Hopefully now I actually have a shot at doing medicine - I'll have to do soooo much work experience though!
