Bumpity-bump. Another few dozen votes and we might be able to start forming a realistic impression....

    Not realistic at all.

All the socialists are at home.

All the conservatives are on holiday.

    Trufax.

Who keeps voting for the WTF party? Am I guessing 1 person has got 20 or so dupe accounts for them?

I voted for the mighty TSR Conservatives...

Anyway - based on that poll the current results:

    TSR Socialist (20.2%): 10
    TSR WTF (18.1%): 9
    TSR Lib Dem (14.9%): 8
    TSR Labour (13.8%): 7
    TSR Torys (12.8%): 6
    TSR Centre (9.6%): 5
    TSR Libertarian (6.4%): 3
TSR Rejects (Patriotic Conservatives) (4.3%): 2
    Votes 94
The next party to obtain a seat would be TSR Socialist instead of TSR Lib Dem for 1 votes.

Maybe my antics earlier caused more damage than good.

    TSR Centre (9.5%): 5
    TSR Libertarian (6.3%): 3

Ha. No. We have over 40 members in our group and no reason to believe any of them are dupes except a couple I know about/made. I've only voted once, but I believe you don't need a dupe to vote multiple times in a private poll on VB fora. I'm not sure if this is true for the Division Lobby. I hope it isn't.

    Labour (14.1%): 7

My view on these results so far:

The Libertarian, PC, Labour, Centre and Lib Dem voteshares are probably about right.

The Socialists are a little overstated, and the WtF a lot. The Tories are under-represented for some reason...

I dunno about WtF, they might do pretty well. You never know with the Socialists, a lot of people predicted a larger share for you last election. And yes, Tories are under represented, oddly.

Yeah, we can be a bit volatile, voteshare-wise..

Or perhaps the creator of the post is a prominent memeber of the Socialists and was talking about this in his sub forum? Its not been up that wrong.

Saying that, the Socialists came joint third in the last election so this is interesting, if the trend keeps up.
    A) The poll features several new contenders who have knicked votes
    B) The poll is favoured towards the left - as they feature at the top of the poll
    C) Barely anyone to the right knows about this poll.

Probably true. Although I don't know who the WTF would take votes from.

I used the same random.org list randomiser that gets used in the real election. There's no bias there.

    C) Barely anyone to the right knows about this poll.
I haven't told anybody about this other than mentioning it in the Commons Bar thread. It certainly hasn't been mentioned in the Socialist sub-forum.

Surely WTF is just people who otherwise might not even vote at all, just having a laugh because it's the internet so why not? If it's actually being taken from real parties I'd imagine it's all of them fairly evenly ...

And seriously whats the deal with the whole not having a little speech about why we should be voted for thing, I know it's only mid-term, but I like those little speeches.

Well, it's a purely unofficial poll. The idea is to gauge current voting intention, rather than allowing manifestos to influence it...
