I'm applying for accomidation now at Glasgow Uni & have put Murano village down as first choice, but not sure what to put as second. so how does QM compare to cairncross? anybody in the know who could help would be a huge help! also, is it better to go for a smaller flat (5 person) or a larger one (10-12)?

    thankyou!! x

QM is much nicer and is ensuite its divided in flats as appose to cairncross which is just like a big corridor type thing with like twelve people to a kitchen and 2 showers and toilets

You're more than likely to get into Murano anyway.

What about putting Maclay residences second? It's like QM in that it's ensuite and all rooms are single.

As for small and large flats, they both have their advantages and disadvantages. You'll definitely meet more people in large flats but they may be noisier. (It'll just depend on your flatmates, a small flat could be just as noisy!) You can always move flats after the first month if you change your mind.
