I just made an account with Next.co.uk and bought some clothes from it and was about to put in my card details when it said "Your order has been sent, you have £208 credit remaining" soo have I just opened up a credit card account with Next!? I swear that's really weird!! I'm so confused!! I tried to pay for it but it just said "No payments need to be made at this time" Anyone else bought stuff from Next.co.uk who can shed some light?? Thanks!!

Yea, I think there is an option to pay by card? but default opens up a credit account. After ten days? I think you can pay online with a card, or on the telephone.
Hope you didn't sign up for the catalogue...

Maybe it's one of those 'buy now pay later' things. Contact them to see what's going on.

You have a limit of spending £250 before you need to start paying. What I do is, order online and then pay within the next few days when I have my clothes and invoice, over the phone, using my card. It's a freephone number, too.

Ugh, I hate Next's website. I once "bought" an interview outfit from there. A couple of days before my interview, the outfit hadn't arrived, so I called the helpline to see what was going on. Apparently the order hadn't gone through (this was despite the website accepting my card details and everything running smoothly as far as I was aware). It's such a pathetic service.

I think they sent me an invoice in the post when payment was due. They send you the items first, and then give you time to return them if you want to, before asking you to pay if you're keeping them.
