    Hi -

Found a charge on my debit card today from 'MICROSOFT *OFFICE' for £9.19

Anyone have any ideas what this is? I don't think it is Microsoft as I haven't bought anything from the, or anything else recently.

I don't know how I can find out what I've been charged ..

    Thanks

Presumably it's not a recurring subscription charge of some kind? If you can't work out what it's for, then give your bank a call and query it - they should be able to provide you with further details of the charge. There may be a contact number for their card services department printed on the reverse of your card; if not, you'll be able to find a telephone number on the bank's website.

Phone your bank and they should be able to give you a bit more info. If you still can't work out what it is you can ask the bank to chargeback, which means the bank reclaims the money giving the organisation who charged your card a certain period (I think it's a month) to challenge it.
The company I work for never bothers to challenge chargebacks and I think they only relate to visa debit cards.

Thanks everyone. I didn't realise I could challenge the charge with a debit card. Will call bank tomorrow.
