er no, never been in that situation, I generally make sure I dnt get too emotionally attached to a guy without there being the chance/ability to get together.
Acctually even in relationships I don't like to get to emotionally attached incase I end up getting hurt - I'm thinking this isn't the way to go about it because It's kind of stupid to not let yourself become attached to someone- but to be fair it works pretty well for me!
I might feel differently if I feel I have met the right guy - but then chances are even higher of getting hurt!

You're in love with someone who doesn't, or can't be in love with you.

*wonders how many replies he'll get*

Unrequited love... is it common here?

yes i am. Funny enough i was moaning about this on my 'how can u tell if a guy likes u' thread

I hate it, it makes me feel really crappy. What's even more annoying is that we've all left school  perfect timing for me to fall head over heals for someone lol. Mind you , we do have leavers ball, but i still feel crap.

i saw him at the leavers' ball last night with his new gf and realised that i'll never see him again.... raises both hands and admits defeat

Reply 18

Yep. It's not much fun :frown: And this is the second time it's happened to me in the last few years. Pain & suffering *whips out the violin* Why is it always the ones you hate/only want as a friend who ask you out?? And why do I seem to have a thing for the totally unattainable?... Incidentally, yes these are rhetorical questions.
