This was what I found. I'm pretty sleepy, though, so forgive me if I'm talking b*ll*cks.

Thanks! I'm only really going to use it for general internet browsing so i hope it should be ok. Though the odd use of iPlayer could have been useful, oh well!

Well, I'm happy in that it'll stop me being a total recluse and spending the whole time streaming movies/tv, playing games etc.

As far as iPlayer goes, someone mentioned using the general Aston communal wifi to download the programme and then going home to watch it, so if you have a laptop it shouldn't be much of a problem. (OT: What would you be watching? I watch too much tv at the moment *shame*)

Yea, downloading could be a good idea actually, didn't think of that!

Well i wouldn't be watching Eastenders. :p: Don't know what i'd be watching tbh, if i couldn't sleep anything would be good! Although i've been watching far too many wildlife docs over the summer, funny how you can't stand watching something when you're a kid and then suddenly you find the same things interesting.

Come be sociable and find a pub, somewhere's gotta show the footie those of us who refuse to buy a tv license for the sake of the footie (and the f1).

lol watching it on streams doesn't make me unsociable.

i'm talking abuot games that aren't even showed in pubs. watching football in pubs is pretty crap anyways. but ye i'll be doing that anyways.

Hurrah, someone with the same tv tastes as me. F1 next year should be awesome with (possibly) 28 cars on track whilst going down the pub to watch champions league, world cup qualifiers etc and sky sports sounds decent too.

You'll most likely have to stream stuff in the library/MB/Tower lounges

lol, well, I was a geeky kid and loved wildlife documentaries . I've ended up watching loads of Dragon's Den over the summer?! I did stay awake on Monday morning especially to watch them release some seal pups on Animal 24:7 or whatever it is, though.

But yeah, I'd say download in a communal, decent internet area and then bugger off to watch it in your room (or just bring earphones, but don't do what my boyfriend did - he was watching Top Gear on his laptop on the train and kept bursting into giggles and getting bizarre looks from his fellow passengers...)

I'll only be finding a pub for the football if the Conference manage to finalise a TV deal.

Ok, i won't be finding a pub.

And no Briatore  I always knew he was full of sleaze... ahem. Not sure how we'll manage the rest of the season since everything goes back to stupidly early mornings, but nevermind. Next season should be pretty cool.

Well i highly doubt any websites bother streaming Luton Vs Forest Green, so it's not like i'm missing out! Oh, that's not good, who're the Green Army playing, Newcastle? I love that advert!

Didn't Forest lose to Ipswich the other night? You should breeze past them shouldn't you? I just really want Luton to get through to the third round of the FA Cup and get Villa at Villa Park, nice easy trip to get to that one!

1-1. na we'll lose at the minute. rock bottom.

that's what I want too! fingers crossed.
Well that Internet does sound pretty *****.
