As the title states just to see how many others are paying and also for reference to compare if you're being ripped off.

    Include:
    Age
    Years driving
    NCB
    Car insured on

Also if you have any convictions include that.

Nowhere near enough info to compare if you're being ripped off, also need to include voluntary excess, points, other people on the car, occupation, predicted mileage, address and godknows what else that insurance companies ask for.

    Anywho based on your info:

Agreed, I'm aware its based on many other things, but its a rough guide as to how much people are paying based on the basic details.

you need to select a few cars with varied engine sizes and models.
you need to select cars that have an equivalent power to weight ratio to the above
you need a group of people with varied ages and ncb's and locations across the UK and get them to run these quotes through for the above.
Additonal - have a generic excess, no named drivers and see what the quotes are

Mean I've just ran through a quote on a new Focus RS (300bhp) with 5 years ncb, made my age 27(i'm not stating my correct age!), north east UK and cost = £650
As my post above I'm not asking for a precise guide as to who is paying slightly more based on every factor. I'm asking simply what you are paying based on the above. Not how many drivers, millage each year etc... even though I know these are HUGE factors in insurance having worked in insurance before.

So keep it to the above if possible please

Then if it's a HUGE factor how can we tell if we're being "ripped off" when not comparing like-for-like? This is why student finance and other means tested systems fail so badly because with the loans £30k to one family would be a fortune yet another family might only just scrape through on it.

If I lived in the middle of manchester my quote would be fantastic, yet if I lived in the best postcode possible it might be awful.
