namedeprived's greatness transcends the banality of a mere poll.

Yes, thank you! I also realized that the thing worked much more simply than I thought it did (the wave simulation is entirely eyecandy) so I'll see if I can finish it up tomorrow, if I don't get distracted. :p:

statistically more likely to get a better mark in AH if you did well in higher i would imagine. can you go argue against my theory which is based on maths itself?! :p:

We'll talk statistics come February..don't you worry!
How about one of us gives you a maths question. The first person who gets the correct answer wins (for now).

And no asking TSR, we'll know.

You mean first person who manages to go to Wolfram Alpha, copy and paste the answer and click submit.
 It's fairly trivial to source questions with which Wolfram Alpha will help in no meaningful way.

I'm even going to beat Meteorshowers mark of 82%.
You know ukdragon got 100%, right? :p:

Pfft, so will I. Then to out do him, I'll ask for another prelim.
I meant in the final. :o: To outdo him, you'll need to sit STEP.

I did get 100% in the prelimS. :p: Sort of guaranteed when you do 2 hours of work and 1 hour of checking.

    In the final I got 96% :o:

In the big small scale of things, maybe. On the other hand, it still puts you easily in the top 10%.

My performance in STEP rankles a little. I'm very tempted to actually do the preparation I should have done before sitting it to bring my maths up to a halfway reasonable level.

Maybe I should have prepared more actually Stats don't really add much to you to prepare for it and a year out without really learning anything new on pure does make your skills a bit rusty.
