It was 70 last year for an A. Or have the B,C and D boundaries gone down?

Wasn't it 78% last year for an A? The B, C and D boundaries went down as well though I think.

Nope, that was two years ago.

It was 70% last year, I remember being shocked by how much it fell :p:

God I hope I forget all these SQA statistics soon, it just reminds me how sad I am XD

Whoops! Our teacher sets the prelims at 78% because she said that's the minimum you would ever need to get an A...bull! They deliberately try and scare you. It works as well.

Cloud cover has caused me to miss the Perseids, without fail, for as many years as I can remember. I'm faintly considering checking the infrared satellite photos tomorrow night and driving to somewhere where the skies are clear!

When are our leavers planning on starting to wind back up with academic preparations for university, if at all? I'm thinking about giving it a week or two (sort of until the schools start to go back) and then trying to get my maths back up to scratch whilst ploughing through a textbook I bought last year but haven't had time to look at yet.

awwww. I thought I did well getting a B too.
So did I - now I feel I should have got an A.

Do you think I could get appealed to an A - I got 72% in my prelim - the same as the cutoff for an A. It seems unlikely though.
Are you only allowed to appeal if your name is on an appeal list?

I'm not sure about that appeal. I would've thought that the A in the prelim would've had to have been higher than 72% but if you got more than that in your 3rd unit prelim (or mini-prelim) then there's probably a better chance.

Yeah it covered all units, and it was our second prelim. I only got a B in the first prelim.
