To get a lot better at the flag game, set yourself a target "in a row" score and just restart the game if you get one wrong :p: Keep going til you get it

Do you not mean that's the size of hole in your ears? You'd have pretty small ears if they were only 8mm, no? :p:

There's a thread about 'Smuggling a tortoise into uni accomodation' which I thought was rather sweet :p:

:wavey: Kirsten, did you have a good day at school? :p:

Yeah. We got sent home early because there was a burst mains pipe outside the school so only had 1 teaching period and 4 'study' periods.

    How was/is everyone else's day?

I'm so tired..I was at Dundee University at this Advanced Higher Mathematics conference with like 200 AH Maths pupils from all the schools in Dundee.
what stuff were you doing at the conference?

i'm quite enjoying the ah maths course so far, the binomial theorem aside ofcourse. that was a lot of nonsense.

No we're not getting moved to chat I don't think.
One of my friends what at the open day to see the medicine bit. Said it was okay but she didn't fall in love. It looks pretty decent though. And also, they have dramatically increased entry requirements for english literature.
I fell in love but I was pretty much already set on Glasgow, trying not to get my hopes up too much incase I don't get in though!

Are you applying for English? I love english :o:

Not too bad although a tad boring and dominated by Geo Challange :o:

Haha what do you want to do?
    Biomedical sciences or english literature.
Think I'm going apply to Aberdeen to do English Literature, Biomedical Sciences(and specialise in either biochemistry or immunology), RGU biomedical science, Glasgow English literature and Strathclyde pharmacy. Wide variety as you can see. Anyone want to write my PS for me? :p:

I strongly suggest you a) apply to a more coherent set of subjects or b) don't even bother trying to write a personal statement for both. If you go for b) you might want to see if the universities would be willing to accept a separate one by email: nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I've already told my guidance teacher what these subjects and he was like 'okay', as in casual and normal. I also think he might have said that he'd write it (or co-write it) but I didn't quite hear him and I didn't want to ask again. :p:
I'm definately not going to be able to pick a definate subject before application.
