    Actually, AH > A2

Not sure if H > AS

But still, this is one of the reasons I love AH English. Only 30% is final exam.
I know that, but in order to be made a conditional from an English university, you usually have to have excellent Higher results in the one go.

She got a higher mark than me in the Higher English exam and now she's got it into her head that she's superior to me based on that one exam, so I'm determined to prove my worth, to myself more than anyone else.
    You are my twin.

EDIT: but not english. She would never beat me at english.

Apes sarcasm is followed by ":awesome:" so it was not sarcasm. :p:

I speak because I can relate to what you're saying. I know many people like that and add that to "proving" yourself...
Aww ok. What is your beloved applying to Oxford for?

I read that as "Beloved, what are you apply to Oxford for?" ... :awesome: :sigh:

And she's applying for Medicine even though she could have done anything (English, Maths). :sigh: ... well, anything except Computer Science stuff.
Aw wow! She'll probably get an interview. Did she do English, maths and three sciences? Can you really apply for English with one humanities subject? :lolwut: If I get an upper second or first I want to apply to Wadham or St. Hilda's for postgrad ...

Higher English; I'm pretty sure I got 49/50.
If you got 49, you would only have needed 16 from your essays for an A. :lolwut:

    :awesome:

At the time, I was sure. :sigh:

I'm pretty sure they were too strict on my marking, that is after reading what happening to Kirsten.
Guess you didn't have sufficient evidence to appeal with then?

    :sigh:

Yeah, she did (AAAAA). And she's doing AH in all 5, I don't see the need tbh ().

And I have no idea about the English with humanities thing...:awesome:
I think an admissions tutor would find it odd that an English applicant would study mostly sciences: you'd probably need a foreign language too, and a social science, and science sciences to show you're a polymath :p:

    I didn't say it wasn't. Where did I say it wasn't?
I said it was good to know I wasn't the only one feeling like that and you said I won't after seeing your essay, which implies I'd feel better about myself ... :lolwut: What did you mean by that, then? :p:
