As a fellow pupil of English, you disappoint me greatly.

Using a word (Sick) which has a variety of meanings depending on the context to which it is applied.

    :sigh:
O RLY? How would you define 'sick' then? Unless you're Jay-Z, it cannot be used in a positive way, and therefore will always have negative connotations, regardless of the context in which it is used.

    You faillllllll

Haha! You could always try working less crazy hours, or does that not work for you? Our maths has been fairly straightforward thus far, at just a light brush over Advanced Higher, so not much of a problem. On the other hand, I've only had 3 lectures there so far, so it could well become much harder! We're doing the lead-up to vector spaces at the moment (so, er, vectors :p:).
No. I have a double bed.
Well I have 9-5 days three days of the week (although one of those is partly due to non-academics) and i'm doing something pretty much every evening and so far not doing that seems less favourable than working crazy hours :p:

To be honest, what we knew as vectors are a fairly small part of what vector spaces actually are, to me it's been about learning the fundamentals of mathematics properly so far. It's quite hefty at times.

Double bed, lucky :p: My bed was broken when I got here, but I didn't notice for a week...

Today I ate a kilo of sultanas and 12 packets of crisps, on top of meals. I strongly advise no-one to ever do this, under any circumstances

Actually if I recall correctly the legendary thread :ninja: the link can be found in post #1 was closed before then as well.
More to the point, it was closed before now. However, I think that was probably more due to the combination of its length with the fact that there was no longer any need for a results discussion thread, as such.
