A friend of mine who has just finished her first year has told me to get some plimsoles!

Apparantly they are very "in" at the moment even though i just bought some shiny white k-swiss trainers.

Im thinking about getting these. what do you guys think?

Link doesn't work. I like most plimsolls but I wouldn't wear them myself as I have chunky legs and I think they make my legs look bigger.

As far as plimsolls go, i've always preferred the 'cheaper' looking ones.

Plimsoles used to only be worn during PE at Primary school and that is how it should be.

Don't be silly and buy branded, expensive plimsolls, they get trashed so easily, step in a puddle, trashed, roll your ankle walking on grass, trashed, someone steps on your foot by accident, trashed.

Primark, £3.90 each, I have 3 pairs, two white, one black, first white pair is trashed, but thing is, even with a bit of dirt on they look alright, just not worth spending £40 on them.

I agree. They do get trashed pretty easily, so its best to buy cheap.

I prefer them when they look a bit worn though, rather than sparkling white.
